im trying the new beta version of aster for windows 10 and have encountered 2 problems:
1. the catalyst control center crashes on startup "Catalyst control center: host application has stopped working".
2. and the more serious one is that applications (kodi and games) do not work with REAL fullscreen mode, only borderless window.
i'm running two monitors on one graphics card (radeon hd7950)

any idea how to resolve it?

edit: just noticed that you mention it in the windows 10 related notes...

I have a problem that I can run the windows only from the rdisk 1 partition 2 from USB menu
and when im trying to run the windows without connect the usb I get the hardware cannot find boot error
How can I fix it? thanks for help

Hi, does "This ASTER V7 version is not suitable for migrating to Windows 10, because it may have unresolved issues that hinder its regular usage on the new system." on Aster web page mean, that I can not install it if I "upgrade" my Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 (= new version of Aster V7 is supposed to be installed on clean Windows 10 installation), or that I can not install this version under Windows 8.1 and then migrate ("upgrade") to Windows 10 (= I can install new version of Aster V7 just after succesful migrate to Windows 10). Thank you. Still on Windows 8.1 using Aster V7 ver. 1.0.6.14.10.3.

Yeah since the new Windows 10 update version that came out this week, Aster will not work for windows 10 at all.
It comes up with an error message saying further work may be impossible as soon as aster tries to run on startup. 🙁
Hopefully this is fixed soon. I went to bed with it working, woke up to an update from windows installing and now Aster is dead again for 10 🙁

Available beta version with support for Windows 10 Build 10586

I can create a USB bootable drive for Windows 7 OEM disc, but for Windows 8, Im getting something like "cannot find NTLDR...". Why is that?

Any updates on the date when Aster V7 will work for Windows 10?

So today I found this wonderful software. I setup 2 user accounts, plugged in 2 KB/Mice/Monitors (have 2 GTX970s, SLI disabled, monitor plugged in each one) and setup 2 sets of speakers. One set is plugged into my front panel output and the other to the rear output. I can play 2 separate full screen games with this setup and ZERO issues so far.

Thanks for making this possible, I want to support this project anyway I know how. If anybody has doubts, check out this YouTube video I made less than 30 minutes ago...

Hi, from Italy, i tried the " Beta version ASTER V7 for 2-12 users 32/64 bits (number 1.2.4.18.12.3.1.3.26) "
on windows 10 1511(build SO 10586.36)
Till now all is really good and work very well!! i can even share the HDMI audio of one monitor to 2
user 🙂
