I'm considering buying an AMD gpu, but I already own an Nvidia one.
Would I be alright if I bought an AMD or am I forced to run only Nvidia? It's not a personal loss to me if I can't, but it's just nice to know so that I don't waste time and effort trying to make something work.

With ASTER it is possible to use video cards from different chip manufacturers, if it is possible without ASTER.
