Hello,
I've been trying to figure out how to make the game work on both workstations, but it seems it will only run on one workstation. Figured it didn't hurt to ask, but is it possible to run this game twice so that my roommates can play together?

We're on the same boat but looks. On their main site, they said it's not compatible even for virtual machine. They blocked Bluestacks from running the game too. So the only method that you can choose to play with your roommate is PC-Phone. It's crossplatform playing.
