I'm running trial mode on Windows 7 x64 and ran into a trouble. The software works just fine when first installed, but I cannot disable it anymore after that. If I click "Disable ASTER and restart PC", from the ASTER Control my PC restarts but after that I'm stuck. The Disable-button doesn't change back to "Enable", but instead it's only giving me the option to disable it again. This will lead to an infinite loop and there's no way out.

In this state the "Run ASTER workplaces" is grayed out, status reads "enabled, but failed safe mode". I can only see "General"-tab. If I re-install ASTER I'm back at the same screen. I got around this once by doing a Windows system restore but that doesn't help anymore.

This is all the displayed information:

ASTER V7 for x64 systems
total workplaces: 2
version: 1.0.6.10.9.2
status: enabled, but failed safe mode
this workplace: 1

Did anyone ever fix this problem?

Run as administrator a registry cleaning tool, it will remove the conflict records,
remaining after the launch of similar programs, and then restart the computer.

After that, ASTER will be disabled.
Enable ASTER on General tab of the ASTER Control panel
