Hi There, this works, but, i cannot add more than 1 monitor to one terminal.
I have 3 monitor, i want to do:
Terminal 1: Monitor 1, Monitor 2 (Extended)
Terminal 2: Monitor 3
There is a way to do it? or it is a software limitation? thx
this works for me but i am using nvidia control panel to do this.
there is no way, when i enabled Aster workspaces and restart, Monitor 2 goes to No Sinal and i cannot enable this in nvidia control panel, but the Monitor 2 is appearing in windows device manager
I have the same problem in Windows 10.. 🙁 It's weird, it worked flawesly in previous version of Aster under Windows 8, now I can use only one monitor for each workplace.. It´s a pity :-/
it worked fine for me. although i think we may have different config.
can you try to remove sli or xfire if you run it.
before starting aster, turn off the 3rd monitor for workstation 2, then can you try to open up control panel of nvidia, setup multiple displays, select the 2. apply and save what ever.
then turn on 3rd monitor. btw i have 2 vid cards, so 3rd monitor goes to vid card 2, 1st 2 monitor goes to vid card 1.
The problem is I have only 1 graphic card. Under Windows 8.1 it was possible to use 2 monitors for one workplace (mirroring) and one monitor for second workplace. With new Aster for Windows 10 it doesn't work..
This feature not works in Windows 10, there is no work around for that?
Has a solution been found for this problem?
I found a "solution" only if you need mirroring the display (new version of Aster still does not support extended desktop on one graphic card.. :-/ )
So my "workaround" for 3 monitors (1st+2nd LCD on 1st terminal mirroring (or - in my case - 1st LCD and 2nd is projector 😀 ); 3rd LCD on 2nd terminal):
Some issues:
Hope it helps! 🙂
For workstation with multiple monitors is necessary to allocate a separate graphics card (it was in all versions of ASTER).
Although you can try to unite Monitor 1.1 / 1.2 in one, using technology amd eyefinity or surround nvidia
Then in the system, they will be listed as one monitor (in this case the second card does not require), however these "grouped" monitors are part of the same display and therefore can not be operated in different modes.

Weird... with previous version of Aster (running Windows 8.1) I was able to use 3 monitors on 2 terminals - 1st terminal 2 monitors (with extended desktop) and 2nd terminal with 1 monitor. All that with only one graphics card.
Has anyone found a solution to this? The nvidia surround idea works well for me, but I would rather 2 separate monitors because my monitors are 2 different resolutions.
My understanding is you need 2 graphics cards if you want dual monitors on one terminal (one card would be dedicated for the dual monitors). I wanted to try that too but when I saw I needed another graphics card I said screw it and just got a third terminal insteal, lol. Have you tried e-mailing support? They have been really helpful anytime I needed something and typically get back to me well within 24 hours. If you get an update spread the word. =)
i try to move to windows 8.1 to check if that possible to work with 2-3 monitors with 2 terminals .
windows 10 horrible for me make >>> 😥
Thank you guys .
